I’ve worked on UI for dozens of games with various team sizes and timescales. I believe UI is a critical part of the player experience and getting it right is often crucial for player understanding and immersion. To that end, I always work to make sure that the UI I create is cohesive with the mechanics and style of the game as well as clear and intuitive for players.

In addition to the player experience, well designed UI is critical to a smooth development process, and I always make sure to design the backend of my UI systems to be flexible, easily maintainable, and clear to read.
